
Purpose
To help children and adults, particularly persons with disabilities and other underserved community members in Suba North and its surrounding areas, develop digital and workplace-productivity skills that support education, communication, employment, entrepreneurship, and independent access to information.
Key activities
- Training in printing, scanning, and photocopying
- Safe, responsible, and effective use of the internet
- Digital citizenship, including online safety, privacy, respectful communication, and responsible participation
- Training in productivity applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Online communication using Zoom and Google Meet
- Assistance with online government services, including eCitizen and Kenya Revenue Authority services
- All training and support services are provided free of charge for persons with disabilities

Reported impact
Impact in 2024–2025
CLIP-KENYA equipped a digital-literacy training room at Ogongo Centre and trained 57 people in computer and digital skills, comprising 35 children and 22 adults.
CLIP-KENYA also provided school uniforms, bags, stationery, and other essential learning materials to 15 learners with disabilities. We also supported and encouraged teaching staff working with learners with disabilities.
CLIP-KENYA facilitated transportation for 12 persons with disabilities to access free medication and assistive devices, including wheelchairs. Working with volunteer medical professionals, we also provided free health check-ups and screenings for 26 persons with disabilities and facilitated counselling sessions for 60 persons with disabilities.
Impact in 2026 (January to June)
CLIP-KENYA trained eight participants in basic computer and digital skills, comprising three children and five adults. The training strengthened their ability to use digital devices, access information, and communicate more confidently through digital platforms.
