"I encourage my community and friends to join Clip Kenya."
I joined Clip Kenya in 2024. Since then, I have learned many things. I want to congratulate Clip Kenya for being patient and kind to me. Before I joined, I already had some knowledge of computers, but after joining Clip Kenya, I learned even more. Now, I know many new things about digital literacy. I encourage my community and friends to join Clip Kenya.
"Digital literacy has given me skills like critical thinking."
I am from Lambwe Comprehensive School. I am writing to thank Clip Kenya for teaching me digital literacy since the day I enrolled. Clip Kenya has helped me learn more about computers. I now know about different search engines and how they work, such as Opera Mini and Instagram. It has also helped me learn how to use Microsoft Word and how to create an email account.
Digital literacy is very important in my life. It has given me skills such as critical thinking. I enjoy learning digital literacy because it improves my communication skills and makes me brave and courageous as I explore more. I sincerely thank my mentor, teacher Emily, who has stood by me and taught me digital literacy packages. Thank you.
"Digital literacy keeps us safe and helps us teach others."
Hello, my name is James Hillary from CLIP KENYA. I want to talk about digital literacy. I like it because it helps me learn more about computers, digital apps, and it also helps me with homework. Digital literacy gives us knowledge, makes us faster and more accurate on the internet, and keeps us safe from strangers.
Digital literacy also helps us teach others about internet dangers, especially young people. It has taught me how to create my own email account.
For now, that is my experience. What I can tell you is to join CLIP KENYA to understand digital literacy and even more. Thank you, CLIP KENYA.
"Before Clip Kenya, I knew nothing about digital literacy. Now, I know many things."
I am in Grade 6. I joined Clip Kenya when I didn't know anything. I came here knowing zero percent. But now, I have improved a lot. Clip Kenya has helped me learn things like creating accounts, browsing, typing sentences, refreshing pages, restarting the computer, and understanding what a computer is.
Before Clip Kenya, I didn't know anything about computers. Now, I know many things. I say thank you to those who sponsor me.
"Clip Kenya taught me how to research things I don't understand."
I joined Clip Kenya in Grade 8 through my school friends. They advised me to study computers. I was taught how to use a computer, but I had challenges using the mouse.
I learned many things like typing. Clip Kenya also taught me how to research things I don't understand. I encourage others to learn computer studies because it is important.
"Today I am proud to say I am well-equipped with digital literacy."
I enrolled in computer lessons in April 2025. I studied all the packages offered, from Microsoft Word to Microsoft Access, from basic to advanced level.
I want to talk more about the collaboration tools, especially the "Internet Package." At first, I wanted to skip it because I didn't have a phone. Thanks to Emily, I was able to open my own email using her phone. I also learned how to copy and paste meeting links into WhatsApp. Through that, I practiced conducting virtual meetings.
I also thank the Clip Kenya organization for providing laptops, which I used during personal practice before my final exam.
Today I am proud to say that I am well-equipped with digital literacy despite not having a phone. That's thanks to the Clip Kenya organization.
"As a future engineer, Clip Kenya prepared me to organize and analyze data."
My name is Ouma Griffins. As a future engineer, learning how to use digital platforms like Microsoft Excel and design tools is essential. I now feel prepared to organize test data, fuel efficiency, and maintenance records. Learning digital literacy from Clip Kenya helped me improve my research skills and analyze data using spreadsheets and visualization tools.
Thank you, Clip Kenya.
"Before Clip Kenya, I didn't know anything about computers. Now I do."
I am a learner of computer studies, and I was sponsored by Clip Kenya. Before I joined, I didn't know anything about computers, especially typing and highlighting. As I continued with my studies, I learned a lot.
I encourage my fellow pupils to join computer studies at Clip Kenya.
